CNA Coordinator/Scheduler
At Cascades at Jacinto in Houston, TX, we pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where excellence thrives! W e are looking for an experienced, organized CNA to join our team as full-time CNA Coordinator / Scheduler.
As a CNA Coordinator / Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in making sure each patient receives the love and care they need.
You will be part of leading our team to consistently achieve excellence in resident care!
Responsibilities :
CNA / Nurse Scheduling : Create and manage nursing department work schedules including CNA, LVN, RN, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
Coordinate with nursing staff to accommodate their availability and preferences.
- Interviewing and Hiring : Participate in the recruitment process by interviewing potential CNAs. Collaborate with Recruiting, HR, and Nursing management to assess qualifications and fit for the role.
- Patient Treatment : You will work the floor on an as-needed basis.
- Encouraging Excellence : You will create an environment that fosters continuous improvement. Recognizing and celebrating achievements, providing constructive feedback, and promoting professional growth will be integral to your role.
- Van Driver : You will be required to provide patient transportation with the facility van on an as-needed basis. Training provided.
Qualifications :
- Active Texas CNA certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Knowledge of long-term care laws and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Job candidate interviewing skills a must
- Strong organizational abilities
