Associate Director for Administration and Finance : Oriental Institute, University of Chicago
The University of Chicago’s Oriental Institute is an internationally recognized research center for studying the archaeological and textual record of the ancient Near East.
We seek applicants for the position of Associate Director for Administration and Finance (ADAF), who reports to the Director of the Oriental Institute and is responsible for the successful management of all Institute operations including budgeting, financial management, pre- and post-award grants management, human resources and supervision of staff.

The Associate Director for Administration and Finance interacts regularly with the Institute’s research faculty, who serve as its governing board.
Candidates must have experience leading a complex organization with a wide range of research programs and operations. Candidates must also have demonstrated project management skills enabling them to monitor and oversee both domestic and international projects and personnel.
