Job Title : ServiceNow Developer Senior
Locations : . : Onsite (Hybrid) in McLean, VA on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Must have : ServiceNow development (Critical), knowledge of CI / CD, Angular or React, Kubernetes, Postgres and AWS.
Preferred : basic understanding of Gen AI, Python
Notes :
- The developer will be responsible for building out existing processes on ServiceNow, maturing them and integrating the processes to a new technical portfolio platform.
- The developer must have excellent knowledge and hands on development experience in ServiceNow, Angular OR React frameworks (any version will suffice), AWS platform (EC2 instances etc.
SQL, CI / CD and Kubernetes. Experience in Postgres is highly preferred as that is what the Client uses. However, any RDBMS OR NoSQL database experience is accepted.
- Experience in Python is nice to have. Later in the project, there will be an additional requirement to build out small applications using Angular / React / JavaScript on the front end and Python on the back end with AI capabilities.
- Day to day : Development in ServiceNow, testing, and meeting the acceptance criteria for the resolution being implemented.
- Qualifications :
- 5 6 years of hands on developing in ServiceNow.
- Development experience in AWS services.
- Client facing experience demonstrated ability to develop and consult in a client facing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to create and consume web services (REST).
- Demonstrated ability to do scripting with Nodejs / JavaScript.
- AWS or Docker or Kubernetes Certification Preferred.
- AWS Cloud Services (AWS Certified Preferred), and containerized applications and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes CKA Preferred).
- Monitoring and performance management / tuning of systems.
- Networking, Linux based platforms, and modern JavaScript.
- Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience working with DevOps, CICD, GitOps, Agile methodologies.
