Financial Analyst-Japanese Bilingual
Global financial advisory consulting firm NY branch seeks Japanese bilingual Research Analyst to perform industry business trend and financial analysis.
Location : NYC midtown office
Exempt position : 9-5 M-F hybrid
$150K-200K plus bonus and fabulous health benefits package.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conduct a variety of research and financial analysis on key industry trends.
- Understand the client's business goals and strategy.
- Create presentation material that presents the business opportunity to the client
- Communicate recommendation to clients and Business Origination officers in Americas / Japan.
- Explain our points to all related parties and let them understand discussion points within a restricted time frame.
- Experienced members (e.g. VP, project leader) are expected to develop market entry strategies for clients, lead / manage related the team, and negotiate with related proposals.
- Analyze industry trends and company financials
- Continually build knowledge and capabilities within the industry segments
- Review business / trade publications, annual reports, financial and other sources to gather / synthesize / interpret data on industries / companies
- Meet with management teams of companies, rating agency analysts and relevant industry analysts / consultants in sector to grasp and analyze corporate strategic of key industry players
- Attend meetings / conference calls with company management to stay current with corporate developments / objectives
- Communicate with group companies in Tokyo and NY to provide with business proposals or corporate advisory roles based on information gathered and industry research / analysis conducted
- Prepare well-organized, accurate, clear and logical written research reports regularly (monthly / quarterly / semi-annually etc.
or as required (research for particular topics / issues etc.)
- Develop financial models or financial analysis as needed. General data analysis using statistical techniques to help identify relevant macro / micro economic factors that can aid the forecasting process
- Write and publish various monthly / quarterly / semi-annually reports as necessary in a timely manner
Technical Skills Required
- possess strong analytical skills as well as strong communication skills, written and verbal. Important characteristics are resourceful, self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player
- Obtain industry expertise in one or more sectors
- English at native level fluency plus business level Japanese
