2024-2025 Special Education Teacher - Near Worrell, PA
ProCare Therapyhas a contract position open for a Special Education teacher near Worrell, PA! As a ProCare Therapy employee, you will be compensated with weekly pay and quality benefits.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate educator who can create individualized learning plans, implement effective teaching strategies, and collaborate with other staff members and families to support student success.
Position Overview :
We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with elementary school students with diverse learning needs and disabilities, located in Drexel Hill, PA.
This is afull time position from 8 : 15am-3 : 30am daily.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Create and adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of elementary school students.
- Monitor and assess students progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of students progress and other required documentation.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- Pennsylvania (PA)SPED certification
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Comfortability with Mild / Moderate and Moderate / Severe caseloads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
