Strategic Initiatives Specialist

FLSA Status : Exempt / Regular / Full-time
Effective Date : June 2024 Position Summary This position collaborates with the Chief of CCBHC and Chief of Culture to assist in supporting special projects related Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics and Culture.
This position assists in supporting planning, implementation and analysis of special projects, policies / procedures, and organizational priorities to maximize performance and to assist the organization in achieving its mission and vision.
This position supports responsibilities as assigned for the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) initiative.
Participates in designated committees, special project teams and other work groups as designated by the supervisor. Essential Duties / Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

- Collaborate effectively across all departments prioritizing critical thinking, critical listening, including attention to detail and the little things.
- Support administrative duties related to CCBHC including writing reports, analyzing data, tracking implementation benchmarks, facilitating meetings, and trainings as assigned.
- Demonstrated ability to learn clinical, technical, and programmatic aspects of projects as assigned.
- Develop a working knowledge of terms and conditions associated with agreements, contracts, and grants, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
- Support the measurement and documentation of progress in achieving goals and objectives for projects as assigned.
- Assists the Culture Team in responsibilities related to public speaking, communications, and working with others.
- Assists in and helps to coordinate monitoring in response to accreditation, regulatory, and / or licensure reviews.
- Complies with, or assists, in the gathering and submission of data / audit requests from the State, third party payors and others.
- Perform additional CCBHC responsibilities as assigned.
- Participate as assigned in QLF and leadership meetings as assigned.
- Support Chief of CCBHC and Chief of Culture, as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities Not Applicable Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in field related to Management, Public Health, Mental Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human services, mental health, healthcare, or a closely related field.
- Strong organizational, financial, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to learn how to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and clinical professionals.
- Strong investigative and people skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license in accordance with HCI motor vehicle policy.

Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Work Environment Job related activities are performed in administrative and clinical areas with primary focus being staff driven.
There are some civic duties that relate to promoting the Center. Professional attire must be worn during working hours. Extensive travel may be required to fulfill responsibilities.
Pressure and stressful situations present themselves overtly and covertly which must be managed daily. Error in judgment can have a dramatic effect on the organization. Conditions of Employment
- Completion of tuberculin screening no later than three days prior to first day of employment and annually thereafter
- Completion of MMR, Varicella, influenza and coronavirus vaccine
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screening and completion of post-employment drug or alcohol tests upon reasonable suspicion of use.
- Completion of Center-wide orientation and ALL required paperwork prior to reporting for work
- Completion of HCI’s Management Training Program within first six months of employment.
- Demonstrated computer literacy through successful completion of pre-employment testing may be required.
- Completion of HCI Quality Training, Trauma Informed Care and Relias Learning
- Successful completion of New Employee Department Checklist within 90 days of employment
- Attendance at all mandatory staff development and training
- Successful completion of a six-month on-the-job orientation period
- Successful completion of Annual PES
- Adherence to all policies, procedures, rules and regulations set forth by Hamilton Center, Inc.
- Participation in payroll electronic deposit
- Adherence to Compliance Program Plan
- Satisfactory reference and background investigation checks.
