Join our team as a Master Field Service Technician! In this role, you will provide highly complex technical support for our Naval customers including maintenance, repairs, modification, and more.
What You Will Do
- Provide highly complex technical support for maintenance support, repairs, modification, equipment setup and testing, and formal / informal training of customer personnel
- Act as team leader, providing work leadership and technical guidance to lower-level technicians
- Serve as expert to customer on complex technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues requiring research and a high degree of creativity
- Prepare reports to evaluate service ability issues
- Demonstrate setup and adjustment of complex equipment for potential users or operators
- Complete appropriate written documentation and feedback for onsite service and installations
- Research and deliver unique and complex technical solutions to customers with a high degree of professionalism
- Determine and recommend the most cost effective products or services that would best fit the customer’s needs
- Analyze and interpret test results related to the design and test objectives and adjust equipment to bring within specifications
- Formulate recommendations for changes in product or test methods
- Demonstrate great customer service skills
- Possess ability to work variable shifts and up to 12-hour shifts to perform necessary testing
- Exhibit mature, independent judgment and communicates effectively
- Employees must be able to maintain and adhere to the customer’s on-site scheduling requirements with no more than 5 unplanned absences during any rolling 12-month period.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED with 10+ years of work experience
- Methodical documentation skills with the ability to assist in accurate, complete and timely technical service reports
- Proficient in the use of a laptop computers, mobile devices, and related software
- Must be able and willing to travel
- Must have or be eligible to obtain U.S. passport
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required
- Software skills with C, C++, Java and Visual Basic, a plus
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
- Excellent teambuilding and leadership skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Office application experience, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint; detailed understanding and use of database technologies helpful
- Candidates must be a US citizen and meet DRS security standards as imposed by DoD, including the issuance of any necessary security clearance by the US government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
