Our Client is a well established Garment / Apparel Trims Manufacturer based in NYC and they are looking for a strong Senior Sales Executive / New Business Development who has Current experience bringing in new business in the trims, zippers, metal trims / buttons / draw cords / tapes / labels categories.

Responsibilities :

  • Effectively handle daily communication with existing customers to address their needs and resolve any issues related to trims.
  • Have a Minimum of 8 years of experience in the garment or trims industry (zippers / metal trims / buttons / draw cords / tapes / labels) to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Show strong executive awareness of all company orders and direction.
  • Show exceptional organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team while working diligently towards achieving sales targets.

Qualifications :

  • Possess a cutting-edge knowledge of American, European & Asian fashion trends and markets.
  • Have at least 8 years of experience working with major department stores, specialty stores & large importers in the US market while effectively collaborating with customer designer teams, buyer teams & production teams.
  • Achieve successful selling records within recent years.
  • Be familiar with Outdoor Apparel, Junior and Missy product development, as well as possess strong knowledge of garment construction & technical specifications.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications :

  • Education related to Fashion Industry(Associate or Bachelor's Degree).
  • Cutting edge knowledge of American, European & Asian fashion trends and markets.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working with major department stores, specialty stores & large importers in the US, working well with customer designer team, buyer team & production team.
  • Successful selling record in the recent years.
  • Good knowledge of garment construction & technical specs.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including speaking and writing.
  • Great organizational & follow up skills. Extreme attention to details.
  • Computer literate. Familiar with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
