Qualifications
Candidate shall have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of ten years' experience in public works design with an emphasis in transportation engineering;
or the equivalent work experience of 14 years.
Position requires :
- Extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of roadway engineering projects
- Interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies
- Experience with Caltrans District 3 and knowledge of Caltrans processes is a plus
- Candidate must have a minimum five years' project management experience
Candidate's managerial experience will include :
- Supervision of engineering design teams
- Management of project schedules and budgets
- Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
- Experience in client and public-agency interactions.
Ability to develop business in the field of transportation design is a must.
