Job Summary
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance to the Radiologist protocols. They follow established radiographic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
The Clinic Radiology Tech also performs basic laboratory functions including phlebotomy and some basic lab testing
What you will do
- Performs general imaging that may include specialty imaging such as Orthopedics
- Position imaging equipment and adjust techniques as appropriate to patient body habitus
- Perform phlebotomy and basic lab testing as ordered by providers
- Record, process, and maintain patient data within the electronic medical record and PACs System.
- Completes all image processing procedures and QC testing. Follows Radiologist protocols to ensure images are of diagnostic quality.
- Use radiation safety measures and protection devises to comply with government regulations to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients’ understanding and address any questions or concerns
Education Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited or approved program in Radiological Technology Required
Experience Qualifications
- 1-3 years Current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year current clinical experience Preferred
- less than 1 year Phlebotomy and basic lab testing. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
- The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification Upon Hire Required
- Radiographer License issued by the state of WI Upon Hire Required
- CPR / Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from approved program Upon Hire Required
