Your Mission :

WMH is looking for a Field Service Mechanic / Technician to join our elite team! You’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of material handling equipment right at our clients' locations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Maintenance and Repairs : Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.

Diagnose Issues : Identify, troubleshoot, and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure quick and effective resolutions.

Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about the status and needs of their equipment.

Documentation : Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours, in compliance with company standards.

Safety Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and clients.

Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience : At least 3 years as a mechanic / technician in material handling, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Skills : Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills with proficiency in diagnostic tools & equipment.
  • Customer Focus : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for customer service.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Licenses / Certifications : Valid driver's license required; certifications in forklift maintenance and repair are preferred.
