Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Addiction Counselor to provide professional counseling services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. The LAC will assess client needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support recovery and long-term wellness. The ideal candidate is empathetic, experienced, and committed to helping clients achieve lasting sobriety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery and relapse prevention.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
• Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups related to substance abuse, mental health, coping skills, and life skills.
• Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, and case management teams to coordinate holistic care.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and ensure client safety at all times.
• Stay current with developments in addiction counseling, including evidence-based practices and legal requirements.
