This Production Asset Engineer position will support our DuPont Teijin Films as it relates to SHE (safety, health and environmental) Performance, production, output, product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Leads efforts s to deliver improved performance to match or exceed current business plan.
Work Experience / Prior Skills & Knowledge Required Education
- BS degree in Engineering preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in a production environment preferred
- Experience leading FMEA / RCFA processes.
- Demonstrated project management capability and results delivery
- Working knowledge of ISO and GMP procedures and practices
SHE Safety, Health and Environment :
- Working with wider site team to ensure a safe working environment, with adequate regard to Health and Environment issues.
- Actively seek and assist implementation on programs to improve SHE performance (risk reduction, hazard analysis, etc.).
Operations :
Deliver required product rates, First Pass Efficiency and Raw Material Efficiency performance as measured by Business Plan requirements or beyond.
Ensure Quality performance to meet or exceed Business Plan on internal rejects and external complaints.
- Use techniques (eg. RCFA / FMEA) to lead area troubleshooting efforts.
- Lead the organization in medium and longer term plans for area performance improvement.
- Key contact from area operations to all other aspects of the business eg. Maintenance, Technical Service, etc.
- Manage direct reports, adhering to Celanese (formally DuPont) core values on people treatment.
- Optimize contribution from direct reports and manage an active development plan.
- Actively manage a self-development plan.
- Provide effective indirect leadership to all personnel in assigned area to extract maximum effectiveness from area team.
