Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist
- Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, garnishments, and taxes.
- Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to address and resolve any payroll discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports on a regular basis.
- Provide top-notch customer service to employees, addressing any payroll-related inquiries or issues.
Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing software (ADP experience preferred).
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Salary
$60,000 - $75,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
