Responsibilities :
Support the Media & Entertainment key client efforts, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and execute strategic business development and marketing initiatives.
Develop comprehensive business development and marketing plans, including setting goals, creating action items, and establishing deadlines.
Advise and work closely with partners, and the Business Development, Marketing, and Communications teams, as well as other internal stakeholders, to implement these plans.
Draft and prepare well-crafted proposals, pitches, and other communications for clients, prospective clients, and related third-party organizations.
Drive content-driven campaign strategies aimed at generating new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the global business development team and other internal stakeholders to identify and pursue cross-selling initiatives and execute business development and marketing plans.
Gather intelligence on legal industry trends to provide an overview of the competitive landscape and explore opportunities.
Plan and oversee seminars, events, and other targeted marketing activities specific to the Media & Entertainment practice.
Work with the Business Development Digital Marketing and Social Media teams to drive content-driven campaign strategies.
Assist practice group leaders in managing relevant business development budgets.
Collaborate with PR & Communications to enhance the profile of the practice and its lawyers with the media.
Travel as needed to support initiatives and participate in activities.
Lead additional related projects within the department or firm as assigned.
Support all profile-raising efforts for the Media & Entertainment team, including writing annual directory and award nominations, as well as maintaining current content on the firm's website.
Proficiencies :
Knowledge of technologies, developments, trends, and literature related to legal and professional services marketing.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, document management, and CRM systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
Strong editing and research skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Solid understanding of the needs and expectations of law firm operations and corporate legal clients.
Advanced knowledge of marketing principles, procedures, concepts, and practical applications.
Fundamental knowledge of networking and relationship management.
Proficiency in team building, management, and leadership skills.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in marketing, law, or business (required).
At least 7 years of professional experience in marketing (preferred).
Experience supporting a Media & Entertainment practice group (preferred).
Management experience in a corporate law firm setting (AMLAW 100 MUCH PREFERED)
