We have partnered with an oil and gas company that is looking for a Finance Director / Controller to lead their North American business unit.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
The overall responsibility is leading and managing the North American business unit providing accounting, FP&A, and commercial finance direction.
- Lead as the business partner to the Regional Vice President and 3 product line directors - providing commercial insight and bid financial support
- Drive the AR reduction program and provide financial guidance
- Lead the North American finane team to ensure accurate timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Oversee monthly closing process and review income statement, balance sheet and cashflow
- Lead and review monthly near term forecasting process
- Maintain all financial forecasts including the 13 week cashflow forecast
- Manage consolidation process of the region
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities and risks and communicate them to the rest of the corporate finance team and the CFO
- Help advise regional leadership with various reports that contrinute to monitoring of SG&A cost base
- Controllership duties including helping audit with regards to regional complience
- Executing company accounting / controls process and policies
- General accounting and tax duties including providing insight to corporate treasury with AP reporting and prioritizing payments
- Lead the annual budget process for the region
- Prepare presentations for key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA, MBA, CMA preferred
- Experience with oilfield services or construction industry
- 10-15 years of relevant experience, 5 years in supervisory role
- Proactive business leader who's not afraid of a challenge and can juggle multiple tasks
- Experience with Oracle a plus
