About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty : Cath Lab Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Not specified Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Experience with diagnostic and / or interventional angiographic procedures Job Description : Assist with all aspects of diagnostic and / or interventional angiographic procedures within the cardiac catheterization labs and vascular angiography suite.
- Responsible for all diagnostic and interventional modalities used within the department, including intravascular ultrasound, fractional flow reserve, intra-aortic balloon pump, and mechanical thrombectomy.
- Collaborate closely with the interventional radiology team to ensure patient safety and the highest level of care.- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and technology used in the lab.
- Demonstrate expertise in patient care protocols and emergency procedures.- Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in cath lab technologies and procedures.- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
