Our team in Manchester currently has an opening for a Warehouse Operator 2nd Shift
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Packaging,filling, labeling, and storage of drummed chemicals or chemical blends.
- Handlingand storage of factory packaged products in bags, drums, pails, super sacks,etc.
- Loading orunloading of bulk, drummed, or bagged material from railcars and trucks.
- Operates aforklift.
- Minormaintenance on trucks or plant equipment.
- Securedual sign off before transferring any product form one vessel to another.
- Properlyuse materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint.
- Properlycares for and uses all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment,pumps, hoses, etc.
- Participatein inventory requirements, counting reconciliation, and recounts as required.
- Keep workareas clean and orderly which includes but is not limited to picking up trash,sweeping, mopping, painting, emptying trash, etc.
- Follow alloperating procedures, work instructions and is familiar with the quality systemmanual.
- Reportsall non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.
- Attendsand actively participates in all safety and quality meetings as required.
- Performsall duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.
- Completesall training as required in the Regulatory / Compliance Training Program.
- Performand complete other tasks as assigned by manager.
YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience :
- High School Diploma / GED Required.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse / industrial environment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel;
reach with hands and arms; talk, hear, or smell. The employee is frequently required to walk and stand. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to wear proper PPE such as safety goggles / glasses, Tyvek suits, steel toed boot, etc.
- Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in the English language.
- Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties.
- Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, pre-employment fit for duty, E-Verify check, and pre-employment drug screening.
