Are you an expert in cybersecurity practices and processes? Do you enjoy thinking out of the box and facing new challenges?

We are seeking a CyberSecurity Manager that will be part of the Technical Program Management and Process team. This is a unique opportunity to define RTI’s secure development process for both our General Purpose Products and Certifiable products.

You will work with the development team to define the process and create the artifacts needed for cybersecurity certifications / audit.

Responsibilities :

  • Set the processes to deliver RTI’s secure products, and products according to industry cybersecurity standards. This includes automotive ISO / SAE 21434, as well as standards from the aerospace, defense, and medical markets.
  • Lead the Product Incident Security Response Team (PSIRT) who reviews and analyzes vulnerabilities, and defines and communicates a response and remedy plan to our customers.
  • Craft the security requirements and develop the security plan incorporating security processes, software tools, configuration management, and requirements traceability methodologies.

You review the security-related work products.

  • Will be the point of contact for security process questions for our customers and certification assessors.
  • Coordinate security-standard-initiatives across the product offering to ensure the success of the deployment of new cybersecurity frameworks and cybersecurity policies.
  • Oversee the successful execution and audit of relevant controls for industry and customer-driven cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements :

6-8 years of experience with CyberSecurity processes and have expert knowledge of system engineering principles and the V-model.

You are a cybersecurity-certified professional.

  • Have a strong technical understanding of the ISO / SAE 21434, MISRA, ASPICE, NIST 800-218 and related security standards and frameworks
  • Have a background in Systems Engineering or Software development (C / C++) and a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Have the personality and the technical abilities to predict problem areas and suggest improvements through quantitative analysis.
  • Have excellent English communication skills.
  • US Citizenship required*

  • Experience taking a software product through automotive cybersecurity certification (ISO / SAE 21434).
  • Experience working with or at a Tier 1 or 2 supplier or OEM applying ISO / SAE 21434.
