Job Summary :
Working in a growing private psychiatric practice in Irvine, the Medical Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice, including greeting patients, directing patient flow, managing communications, and fielding calls.
A key function of the position includes being the face of the practice. The ideal candidate for the position is a professional, goal-oriented self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the desire to advance the practice and their role.
Qualifications :
- Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
- 5+ years of work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
- TMS experience a plus but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft 365
- Experience with scheduling and EHR software
- Experience and familiarity working with insurance companies
- Experience and ability to interact well with patients and patient families

Requirements :
- Professional appearance and manner.
- Available at minimum 36 hours / week.
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Must strictly follow all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
- Must be willing to follow all CDC guidelines for healthcare settings.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19
Compensation :
- $18-25 / hour (based on qualifications and experience)
