Do you have retail, customer service or previous hotel experience? If so, we would love to hear from you! We currently have 3 Front Desk Agent openings;
2 FT and 1 PT ideally, both with flexible avaiablibility.
Essential Functions
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform guests about payment methods and verify credit card data
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
Job Knowledge / Skills and Abilities
- Elite customer service attitude and phone etiquette
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
Qualifications / Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MUST have open avaiablibility; ability to work both AM (7a-3pm) and PM (3p-11p) shifts
- Minimum of 1 year customer service experience; hotel preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently lift and / or move up to 20 pounds
