Outpatient Physical Therapist
We are offering a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates! $7,500 for individuals with more than 1 year of experience, $5,000 for those with less than 1 year of experience, and $2500 for relocation over 50 miles (external candidates only).
We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, adjusting the plan of care as necessary.
As a role model in delivering professional services, you will also serve as a clinical resource for staff and students.
- Demonstrate safe patient transfers and proper body mechanics to reduce the risk of injury.
- Design and modify plans of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plans.
- Educate patients, family, caregivers, students, and other healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.
- Evaluate and document clinical findings and physical therapy diagnoses.
- Screen patients and determine the need for therapy services.
- Evaluate impairments related to orthopedic and neurologic conditions.
- Establish and implement functional deficit-based plans of care.
- Perform objective testing and therapeutic modalities as appropriate.
- Communicate patient progress and treatment recommendations with referring providers.
