Cygnus Technologies, a Maravai LifeSciences Company is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join the Research & Developmentteam as a Laboratory Technician.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills alongside our team of Scientists contributing to cutting-edge research.

How you will make an impact :

• Receive, label, store, and report customer samples .
• Perform chromatography of customer samples via FPLC and 2D-PAGE .
• Analyze 2D-PAGE data with spot counting software and generate comprehensive reports .
• Author SOPs and develop new data analysis tools .
• Efficiently manage lab oratory instruments and maintain consistent levels of consumables.
• Oversee sample inventory and defrosting of refrigerators and freezers .
• Dispose of hazardous chemicals in compliance with EHS regulations.
• Process purchase orders via ERP software .
• Maintain accurate r ecord s in lab notebooks and data binders .
• Present data at lab meetings .
• Perform other functions and duties as required .

The skills and experience that you will bring :

• Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of biotechnology industry experience or equivalent.
• Strong motivation to learn with a growth mindset.
• Experience executing protocols and analyzing data is preferred.
• Experience documenting work in laboratory notebooks; GLP / GMP lab experience is preferred.
• Experience running HPLC, LC, and FPLC is preferred.
