Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and current BLS certification for a day shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital cardiology department performing echocardiograms
  • Day shifts, 5x8 hour schedule from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM
  • Adult patient population
  • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Must be willing to work holiday shifts as needed
  • No RTO approved within the first 2 weeks and a maximum of 7 days RTO allowed
  • Returning perm staff must have been gone for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
  • Medical or religious exemption form required for vaccines
  • Traveler is financially responsible for arrangements related to labs and fingerprinting

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Echo Technologist or Cardiac Sonographer
  • Current BLS certification required
  • First time travelers will be considered
  • Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
  • All time off requests must be submitted at application
  • Must complete labs and fingerprinting in person in MN within 48 hours of signing, as required by state regulations
