Current Need

We are looking for SV&T Test Lead for Enterprise Application SV&T Technology Service. As an SV&T SAP Test Lead, the candidate will be responsible for leading the testing activities related to SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

The Test Lead will need to develop and execute test strategies, manage testing teams, and ensure the quality and reliability of SAP systems.

Position Description

Key Accountabilities :

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules for SAP projects in alignment with project timelines and requirements.
• Lead a team of test analysts and coordinators to execute test cases, report defects, and validate system functionality.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure testing activities are integrated into the project lifecycle.
• Define testing standards, processes, and methodologies for SAP applications to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Conduct risk assessments, prioritize testing activities, and provide recommendations for quality improvements.
• Manage testing environments, data setup, and coordination with technical teams for system integration testing.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, defects, and overall quality metrics to project stakeholders.
• Expertise in regression testing techniques to validate system changes, updates, and enhancements while ensuring that existing functionalities remain intact is critical for maintaining system stability.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to testing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Minimum Requirements

Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on SAP systems, including at least 5 years in a test management role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP OTC & P2P is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and processes, with experience in testing SAP ECC, S / 4HANA (a plus), or other SAP solutions.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Experience in leading testing efforts for large-scale SAP projects, including system integrations and upgrades.
• Experience in integrating third-party testing tools or services with SAP testing environments to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness in SV&T activities.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to interpret test results, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights can help in making informed decisions to improve testing processes and system quality.
• Familiarity with Agile testing practices, such as sprint planning, test-driven development, and continuous integration, can facilitate the seamless integration of testing activities within Agile SAP projects.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with SAP S / 4HANA is a huge plus.
• Must have a strong customer and quality focus.
• Strong technical skills in SAP ABAP programming for troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks can help streamline testing processes, improve efficiency, and increase test coverage in SAP projects.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, can help in achieving faster and more reliable SAP deployments.
• Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
• Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or project management are a plus.

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position : $126,000 - $210,000
