UI/UX Expert

As a UI / UX Expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping exceptional user experiences for our digital products and services.

Your focus will be on designing intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing interfaces that align with user expectations and business goals and bring consistency to the user experience across applications.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless interactions across various platforms.

Qualifications :

Essential Functions :

Visual Asset Design and Wireframing :

• Create web-based visual assets and wireframes for new and existing webpages.
• Support our client-facing Online Access platform, along with mobile applications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

• Interpret business requirements into effective end user digital design and experiences
• Work with designers, developers, strategists, and writers to execute creative concepts.
• Align designs with business objectives, project goals and brand guidelines.

Design Consistency and Brand Alignment :

• Ensure design consistency across all digital projects and channels.
• Maintain alignment with the company s brand positioning from concept to final product.

File Organization and Presentation :

• Organize and maintain digital project files and deliverables.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to pitch ideas and display creative work.

Stay Current with Trends and Best Practices :

• Keep up to date with emerging design trends and best practices; benchmark UI / UX against peer firms in the financial services industry in addition to understanding current general consumer / user behavior and preferred experiences
• Propose and implement solutions for optimal UX / UI.

Creating Comprehensive Style Guides :

Develop comprehensive style guides for websites, ensuring consistent design elements and guidelines.

Essential Qualifications :

Design Expertise :

• Experience creating wireframes, webpages, and graphics.
• Strong understanding of UX / UI best practices and ADA guidelines.
• Familiarity with creating comprehensive style guides.
• Responsive Design : Understanding of responsive design principles.

7+ Years of Experience :

Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

Digital Platforms and Formats :

Proven experience working with a broad range of digital platforms and file formats.

Effective Communication :

Comfortable articulating and defending design decisions to stakeholders.

UX / UI Tools :

Expertise in UX / UI design tools and platforms (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

Front-End Understanding :

Understanding of front-end web development and programming languages (e.g., HTML, CSS).

Desired Skills :

Financial Industry Knowledge :

Familiarity with financial industry terminology and concepts.

Data Visualization :

Experience working with data visualization and complex dashboards.

Collaboration Skills :

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Angular Familiarity :

Knowledge of Angular or equivalent framework for front-end development.

Mobile Application Design :

Familiarity with designing for mobile applications and / or experience leading engagement with external mobile design experts

Agile Workflow :

Experience working in collaborative agile process to create and fine-tune designs based off business and / or development discussions.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
