Grants Project Manager (Justice Programs) are leaders and project managers with experience in consulting, technical assistance, data collection and analysis, assessment, the Federal grants lifecycle, and project management.

This role requires 7+ years of experience in relevant tasks and direct experience managing a consulting team. They have a desire to help clients achieve outcomes, develop their team members, and help the company grow and succeed.

All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment. Responsibilities :

  • Leads a team in supporting justice grants programs in the area of technical assistance, data collection and analysis, assessment, and Federal performance measurement
  • Performs day-to-day management of contract support operations, ensures quality standards and work performance on all tasks, supports task execution, plans, organizes, and oversees work efforts, assigns resources, manages personnel, provides risk management, ensures quality management, monitors overall project, and contract performance
  • Maintains a trusted relationship by providing clear and consistent communication with client and contractor leadership on progress
  • Responsible for the quality of work, personnel, and adherence to timeline and deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
  • Apply excellent research, analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
  • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop

Required Qualifications

7+ years of relevant job experience and knowledge of justice research, analysis, project management, assessment, and / or performance measures.

Significant portion of work experience should be in justice mission areas (criminal, juvenile, and victim)

  • Experience managing consulting projects for Federal government clients and collaborating with clients and stakeholders in complex environments
  • Experience design of assessments, design and implementation of performance measurement systems, and strategic planning
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in grants management programs, and an understanding of the Federal grants lifecycle
  • Direct experience with client and stakeholder engagement and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Strong team builder and team player with an exceptional ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred
  • Clearance : US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship) / ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
  • Critical skills : Project management, communication, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, resilience, flexibility
