SWCM establishes and maintains integrity for all digital products throughout the entire life cycle. SWCM provides innovative solutions through automation, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce providing support for all digital computing products : embedded software, firmware / configurable logic, test equipment, simulation, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and tools.

Additionally, SWCM is responsible for administration and user access for Change and Configuration Management toolsets (i.

e. Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Azure DevOps Server (ADS), Git, etc.). The SWCM department is looking for a full-time and on-site Software Configuration Management Engineer II, located in Richardson, TX.

What You Will DoPerform software builds and deploysProvide support to the Program and Software Configuration Control BoardMaintain and administer Software Digital Library toolsFollow RTX Policies and Directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under close direction of SWCM Team Lead and / or Section LeaderDesign, plan, enforce and coordinate CM and tool processes and proceduresConfiguration Planning & Identification, Change Management & Version ControlStatus Accounting & Configuration AuditsManage digital product development / media librariesEnsure site baseline and post deploy verificationsDocument and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build and versioningSWCM Tool administration / manage all access to tool applications (i.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
