Four Pretty Paws is seeking an Area Market Manager to lead our team of groomers and ensure smooth local operations. This role is all about leadership, organization, and problem-solving—managing groomer performance, hiring and training, addressing client concerns, and assisting our scheduling team with routing to keep days efficient. You’ll also oversee van assignments, service and repairs, supply ordering, and community involvement, while maintaining strong communication with the Grooming Operations team, schedulers, groomers, marketing team, and clients. Management experience is required, and grooming experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Lead, coach, and mentor groomers to ensure exceptional performance and development.
- Hire, train, and conduct performance reviews.
- Serve as the point of escalation for client concerns to maintain high satisfaction.
- Assist the scheduling team with routing to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Oversee van assignments, maintenance, and repairs; build relationships with local service centers.
- Manage inventory of grooming and office supplies, including branded items.
- Coordinate groomer PTO requests, milestones, and recognition (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.).
- Support marketing efforts by securing before / after photos and coordinating local donation requests.
- Step in when needed to support groomers and ensure service excellence.
- Track market performance, monitor growth goals, and support the financial success of the market.
Requirements :
Full-time position.Proven management or leadership experience required (team leadership, hiring, training, and performance management).Grooming experience highly preferred.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Passion for pets and people, with a commitment to building a positive team culture.Benefits :
