Responsibilities / Qualifications

Intrado is hiring a Manager, Proposal Writing to join our Government Solutions team.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Manager, Proposal Writing to lead our proposal development function in the public safety technology sector. The Manager will oversee the proposal team, manage end-to-end RFP / RFI / RFQ response processes, and ensure the delivery of compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals at the local, state, and federal levels. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional writing and editing skills, and the ability to align proposal strategy with company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of proposal writers and coordinators, providing coaching, feedback, and professional development

Own the full lifecycle of the proposal process, from opportunity assessment through submission and debrief

Oversee the creation and refinement of executive summaries, technical narratives, resumes, and past performance references

Develop and enforce standardized proposal processes, timelines, and quality controls

Stay current with industry trends, procurement regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS, state / local rules), and competitive dynamics in the public safety technology space

The starting salary is anticipated between $115,000 and $125,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
