High school Physical Education Summary In order to strengthen our team, we're looking for a committed physical Education instructor with years of expertise.

You will be expected to offer Gym classes specializing in developing and implementing activities for students to promote their physical fitness and overall health.

Responsibilities Adapt and implement a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum Develop academically rigorous lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments Make use of data to inform instructional decisions Give students daily feedback on their performance and plan for individual learning needs Build a Positive School and Classroom Culture Embody and maintain the school's values, policies, and culture Build positive relationships with students, families, teachers, and staff Maintain strong communication with all parents and share progress Effectively manage a classroom with up to 25 students Driver Goals 85% Great Place To Work (GPTW) 70% NWEA (Growth) 85% of students & families are satisfied with the education they receive at Kairos 97% Average Daily Attendance 90% Student Persistence This Job ISN'T For You If You Won't go above & beyond to do what’s best for kids (an innate work ethic is required) figure things out yourself (don't wait for others to teach you, make yourself better) adapt to frequent change (rapidly iterate;

Technology Skills Competence in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use a variety of computer applications and platforms.

Ability to use basic office equipment. Knowledge and experience in using a computer-based student Information Management system.

Safety Duties & Responsibilities Every employee of the School has an obligation to know our safety rules and procedures;

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Required Masters degree Preferred Pass Criminal Background Check Required Missouri Substitute Certification Required Valid Missouri Teacher Certification content specific to role applied for, Strongly P referred or willingness to become certified ASAP.

3+ years of teaching experience Preferred Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide work authorization.
