Description : Company Overview

Requirements :

Tasks / Primary Responsibilities :

• Train and continuously work with the scouting team to identify pests, diseases, and trends on the farm
• Implement and maintain a program combining both chemical and biological control methods
• Organizing / Prioritizing hot spots and treatments on the farm and collaborating with Operations when necessary
• Work closely with growers on completing chemical applications, lab testing, etc.
• Coordinate with consultants and reps on visits and training sessions for the farm
• Record keeping – WPS, fit testing, spray orders, scouting reports, MPS (More Profitable Sustainability)
• Order and maintain inventory of chemicals and biologicals
• Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating with plant maintenance supervisor / spread move supervisor all crop care tasks (pinch / trim, spread / move / hang) in assigned areas
• Manage inventory of daily use tools and supplies for crop care workers. Investigate and implement more effective tools while keeping costs controlled.
• Assist in crop maintenance tasks, as needed, by pinching, trimming, shearing, and cleaning in conjuncture with the grower and the planning department. Ensure greenhouse cleanliness and sanitation within designated greenhouse areas
• Keeping and maintaining the sanitation standards in your area of responsibility according to the protocol.
• Responsible for housekeeping, sanitation and weed control for your area at all times.
