About the role :

Join TD SYNNEX as a Global Director of Network Engineering

TD SYNNEX is on the lookout for a visionary Global Director of Network Engineering. In this role, you will lead global engineering, integration, configuration, security, and support for cutting-edge software, cloud, and hardware solutions.

You'll collaborate with senior executives to shape strategic initiatives and develop a comprehensive technology roadmap.

Manage a team of 10+ staff or focus on specialized technology capabilities, fostering an inclusive work environment and consistently delivering on commitments.

We value expertise in with next generation firewalls, zero trust networking environments, core networking with major vendors and suppliers and experience with micro segmentation.

Additionally, a keen eye for emerging technologies and a cost-saving mindset are essential to drive innovation and efficiency.

What You'll Do :

Project Management & Strategic Leadership : Lead integrated teams to deliver prioritized projects on time and within budget.

Leverage business and technology knowledge to develop strategic technology proposals that sustain and improve business performance.

• Security & Support : Ensure technology products maintain up-to-date security defenses and are effectively supported for dependable operations.
• Technology Roadmaps : Collaborate with internal and external experts to define and maintain multi-year technology investment roadmaps, preventing obsolescence and supporting commercial strategy.
• Prioritization & Resourcing : Effectively prioritize and resource initiatives to optimize value and manage risk. Work with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand and contribute to the commercial strategy.

What we're looking for :

• Presentation & Negotiation : Able to create and conduct formal presentations, negotiate skillfully, promote ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.
• Interpersonal & Leadership Skills : Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills, interacts effectively with all levels of management, and demonstrates strong leadership with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
• Organizational Skills & Stress Management : Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion, and able to work constructively under stress and pressure.
• Ethical Standards & Confidentiality : Maintains and promotes social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities, and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Experience :

Work Experience : 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience, with 1 to 3 years of direct management / supervisory experience.

Education & Certifications :

• Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications are highly desirable
