Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse / Med Surg RN for a 13-week contract in Montgomery, Alabama. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care during the night shift.
Responsibilities :
Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and provide care as outlined in the care plan
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care and treatment plans
Respond to emergencies and prioritize patient care based on acuity levels
Educate patients and families on post-hospital care instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements :
Experience : Minimum 1 year of Med Surg RN experience preferred
Licensure : Active RN license in Alabama or compact state license
Certifications : BLS and ACLS required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
