Job Summary / Job Purpose

The Registered Nurse - Specialty Clinic provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed clinician. This role supports patient care in a community health setting by assisting providers, educating patients and families, and ensuring efficient clinic operations. The RN performs clinical duties with professionalism and minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patient flow and assist in maintaining efficient clinic operations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care needs.
• Assess and triage patients to the appropriate department within the clinic.
• Obtain and document accurate health histories, including medication reconciliation.
• Administer medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal, and IV routes following nursing policies and procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for diagnostic testing.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
• Assist with procedures as directed by the provider.
• Maintain clinical competencies and adhere to quality and safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$26.70 - $39.71 / hour
