STATUS : Full TimeLOCATION : Unity HospitalDEPARTMENT : Physical TherapySCHEDULE : DaysATTRIBUTESMaster's Degree in Physical Therapy or Bachelor's degree with prior experience as a licensed Physical Therapist required.

Current New York State license or a limited permit as a Registered Physical TherapistPrior Physical Therapy experience preferredRESPONSIBILITIESTreatment & Planning.

Meet patient goals and needs by providing quality, evidence-based care; assess, develop and implement an individualized treatment plan;

help the patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises; instruct, encourage and assist patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities and daily-living activitiesDischarge Management.

• Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instruct patients, families and caregivers in home exercise programs;
• recommend and provide assistive equipment; recommend outpatient or home health follow-up programsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects;

Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE : $68,640.00 - $105,000.00The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants.

It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
