AWS DevOps Engineer

• Position Title : DevOps Engineer with Terraform Experience (10 years) Roles and Responsibilities : Demonstrated experience with IaaS orchestration platform;
• e.g. CloudStack, OpenStack Development skills using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) technologies;

Jenkins, DevOps Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, ESX, vSphere) and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

Experience with GitOps and configuration management tooling such as Terraform, Ansible Extensive knowledge of the Linux Operating Systems RHEL / CentOS / Rocky / Ubuntu environments Experience working closely with clients, understanding their technical requirements, design in order to implement IaaS solution.

Assist with transformation and application performance support shift from ticket model to Gitops Infrastructure as Code model.

10 years of extensive experience in the IT industry comprising Build, release, deployment, Monitoring and cloud implementation.

Strong innovative and technical background in AWS, Oracle cloud, Terraform and Containerization. Expertise in AWS Services like EC2, IAM, Subnets, VPC, CloudFormation, AMI, S3, SNS, SES, RedShift, CloudWatch, SQS, Route53, CloudTrail, Lambda, Kinesis and RDS.

Experience in Oracle cloud, IaaS, PaaS, Provisioning VM s, Virtual Hard disks, Virtual Networks, Deploying Web Apps. Experience in Designing, Architecting, and implementing scalable cloud based web applications using AWS and Oracle and migration of On prem to cloud projects for AWS and Oracle.

Worked with Gitlab CICD to build and deploy various applications and also provisioning of GKE clusters via terraform. Experience in using Docker including Docker Hub, Docker Engine, Docker images, Docker Compose, Docker Swarm, and Docker Registry and used containerization to make our applications platform to be consistent flexible when they are moved into different environments.

Experience in implementing Ansible Playbooks to automate in AWS services like Launching EC2, Provisioning IAM, Configuring VPC, EKS, Monitoring using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

Experience in deploying Kubernetes Cluster on AWS and GCP cloud environments with master architecture and wrote many YAML files to create many services like pods, deployments, auto scaling, load balancers, labels, health checks, Namespaces, Config Map etc.

Experience in integrating Terraform with Ansible, Packer to create and Version the AWS Infrastructure, designing, automating, implementing and sustainment of Amazon machine images (AMI) across the AWS Cloud environment.

Experience in creating and implementing Salt Slack Slates in deploying Infrastructure as code (IAC). Worked on Web servers like Apache Tomcat on EC2 instances.

Experience in integrating Jenkins with various tools like Maven (Build tool), Git (Repository), SonarQube (code verification), Nexus (Artifactory) and implementing CI / CD automation for creating Jenkins pipelines programmatically architecting Jenkins Clusters.
