Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist.

Job Description : Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

  • Payroll Processing : Accurately process payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly / monthly basis, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Data Management : Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations, including tax filings, garnishments, and other statutory deductions.
  • Reporting : Prepare and distribute various payroll reports to management, including payroll summaries, tax reports, and benefit deductions.
  • Problem Resolution : Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Auditing : Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data and employee benefits.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
