In this role, you will : Perform routine and diagnostic mammography procedures. Assist with stereotactic biopsies. Track inventory and order supplies.
Exhibit a high degree of tact, courtesy, and poise, explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures. Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
Process images and reviews for proper identification and quality control. Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
Orient and train new hires. Perform other related duties as necessary. We require : Licensed from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Minimum of three (3) years of continuous experience in Mammography Excellent assessment, communication and organizational skills.
Good computer knowledge Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus) All openings are for daytime weekday hours. Salary up to $55 per hour.
