The Test & Balance Services Estimator supports the growth of the Test & Balance Services of the Company.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities will include the following :
- Pursuing bid opportunities for a professional HVAC testing and balancing contractor
- Reviewing detailed HVAC plans and specifications and preparing bids for HVAC testing and balancing
- Reviewing client bid lists / ftp sites, create bid lists and bid files, track addendums & RFI’s
- Preparing and sending proposals to multiple clients in a time-critical environment
- Following up with clients for current project documents and equipment submittals for awarded projects
- Creating job folders with all relevant project information for field technician use
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years HVAC estimating, drafting, and / or project management experience
- Must be able to read HVAC plans and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Bluebeam experience a plus.
- Strong time management and organizational skills along with the ability to multitask.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, desire to learn
