Blazer Jobs is partnering with a respected school district in the Albuquerque, NM area to recruit a committed Full-Time Special Education Teacher for an essential role within a special education setting.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, focusing on academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Provide personalized instruction and support tailored to meet the unique learning needs of students.
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavior, and IEP meetings in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements :
- Valid state teaching credential with appropriate endorsements for Special Education (please specify exact licensure or certification requirements).
- Preferably, a minimum of one year of experience teaching in a special education setting.
- Thorough understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
