Logistics Supervisor

Utilizeyour logistics expertise and supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment.You will leverage your team's experience and skills to support on supply chainservices, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling,import-export licensing, inspection, shipment of products, and warehousing.

Youwill evaluate customer support, operational needs and field service commitmentsto ensure customer requirements are met.

You will provide data analysis forproduction planning and volume studies; and participates in process / ratingimprovement efforts.

As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members intechnical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact tobusiness results.

This position will supportthe overall operations of the Engines site and report directly to the Directorof Operations

Key Responsibilities

Quality control and implantation execution

Lead the team to execute the logistics strategy

Manage overall operational KPI's : Receiving inspection, put away, & lemon shelf TAT, etc.

Evaluate material flow and manage overtime, capacity planning, compression management

Ensure transaction compliance and train team to limit single point failure situations, work with teams to clean up virtual inventory and manage corrective action responsibilities

Manage safe / efficient operation of material handling

Drive continuous improvement culture

JOB ACTIVITIES

Manage Logistics teams and facilitate new hire onboarding, training and mentoring

Ensure Quality controls an adherence to applicable regulations

Review and manage logistics operations costs such as inbound / outbound freight, supplies, etc.Weekend coverage will be necessary

Manage and adjust the logistics MOS (i.e. monitoring KPI's, leading tier meetings, creating standard work and work instructions, etc.)

Participate in physical inventory and other inventory-related activities (cycle counts)

Participate in logistics strategy deployment and complete strategic projects

YOU MUST HAVE

High School Diploma

WE VALUE

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Related Discipline

Experience in Logistics or relevant functions in Integration Supply Chain

Extensive experience in Supervision role

Excellent collaboration and influence with management and cross function teams

Ability to lead people / team and engage / mentor staffs

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Analytical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, developing project plans
