Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) With Benefits- Avon, IN Area
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to enhance communication skills.
- Educate patients and their families on effective communication techniques and therapeutic exercises.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the field through continuous learning.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
