Job Summary
We are seeking a Fitness Sales Associate to join the team at our successful studio! As a Sales Associate, your goal is to increase membership numbers through member referrals, cold calls, and walk-in visits.
The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and sales skills, a positive attitude, and a love of fitness.
Responsibilities
- Fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
- Confident in generating personal sales
- Ability to drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail
- Must have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone
- Must be solution-based and results oriented, competitive spirit
- An affinity and passion for fitness
- Solid writing and grammar skills
- Professional, punctual, reliable and neat and organized
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
- Proficiency with computers and Studio software
- Implement sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Greet members, guests, and prospective members as they arrive at the gym
- Communicate with leads and potential members through calls, texts, emails, and in-person meetings
- Provide an excellent onboarding experience
- Assist members with resolving any concerns or complaints
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED required
- Previous customer service or sales experience
- Proficient in MS Office and other computer programs
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
