ABA Center-Based Behavior Technician

Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group, is urgently hiring for Behavior Technicians ! We offer full-time positions in our Wakefield , MA center with options to gain more experience in home, school, and community settings.

Pay : $22.00 - $27.00 per hour Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Full-time schedules of 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm
  • Childcare experience required
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Proof of Flu vaccination and annual renewal required

Job Duties

  • ABA Behavior Technicians report directly to the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • In collaboration with a program supervisor, instruct clients on developing communication skills, fostering play, establishing friendships, and enhancing independence, while addressing challenging behaviors.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals.
  • Attend to toileting and / or change soiled diapers / clothing as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with the caregiver(s) of referred clients.
  • Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the therapy space at the conclusion of each session.
  • Participate in Clinical Review meetings for individuals on the assigned caseload.
  • 6-month commitment to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication, is essential to the role.
  • Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak, and listen to children. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance;

and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push items of 50 lbs.

Such as pushing children on a bike, pulling a wagon or moving / rearranging furniture. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision.
