About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2044 To $2271 Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Telemetry - Neuro Telemetry Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years required License : Active license preferred, candidates in the process of obtaining a license should provide the application date and estimated issue date.
Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, NIH required Must-Have : Previous charge experience preferred; stable drips expertise required Job Description : Provide care for patients with conditions such as stroke, TIA, NCCU step-down, post-neurosurgery, CHF, chest pain, and post-cardiac procedures.
- Conduct special procedures including post-cardiac cath care, NIHSS assessments for stroke, and respiratory treatments like CPAP / BiPap.
- Administer blood products and manage equipment such as PICC / central lines, wound vacs, and syringe pumps.- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and cardiac drips, with specific experience in handling stable drips like Dobutamine, Heparin, and Nitroglycerin.
- Execute pre / post cardiac angiogram and catheter management, including feeding tube care.- Manage pre / post hemodialysis for renal failure patients and administer IV therapy.
- Conduct care procedures including chest tube management and tracheostomy care.- Adhere to isolation precautions, wound care protocols, and float responsibilities within the scope of practice.
- Provide care for neurological / psychiatric conditions such as CVA, pre / post-neurosurgery, and spinal cord injury. Additional Notes : Floating : Expected to float to different units within practice scope if needed across facilities within a 40-mile radius.
- References : Must have references covering one year of employment within the last three years.- Orientation : 40 hours non-billable orientation required.
