Inova Mount Vernon Hospital has an opening for an experienced Operating Room Nurse Educator. Experience with programs across the Perioperative Services spectrum for staff to achieve patient care and outcome standards is highly desired.
This is a Monday-Friday position (exempt role and day shift schedule).

Job Requirements
- Education : Master's Degree in Nursing, HealthCare, Education and / or other relevant field
- Experience : 2 years of progressive experience in nursing in designated specialty; 3 months of experience serving as preceptor
- Licenses / Certifications : BLS for Healthcare Provider certification issued by the American Heart Association is required;
Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state RN License
Other : Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others;
proficient computer skills.
