Job Summary
Geisinger ConvenientCare urgent care clinics are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our Geisinger Nicholson ConvenientCare team in beautiful northeast Pennsylvania.
Job Duties
Our clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more.
Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services are also provided.

Office Hours - Monday - Friday 8 : 45 am 8 : 15 pm
Saturday & Sunday 7 : 45 am 6 : 15 pm
14 rotating shifts / month.
Work every other weekend.
- No overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts.
- Call approximately six nights per year
No direct patient call for critical lab, CT, etc.
- Six observed holidays - Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day
- Work autonomously with limited administrative burden.

Experience is required - Due to the autonomous nature of the position, advanced practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older and have a minimum of six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care.

Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s)
Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
