This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing system solutions, producing data mappings between systems, and ensuring the seamless integration of new SaaS platforms with our existing infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
System Analysis and Design :
- Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
- Design system specifications and models that meet business requirements.
- Develop and document technical designs, workflows, and process diagrams.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and processes.
Data Mapping and Integration :
- Produce data mappings between systems and interfaces as we switch from legacy, custom-developed solutions to SaaS-based platforms.
- Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies when necessary.
Collaboration and Implementation :
- Work closely with software developers and IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of system designs.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the development phase.
Testing and Quality Assurance :
Partner with QA to develop test plans and conduct testing to ensure systems meet specifications and function correctly.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, configurations, and procedures.
- Document changes and updates to systems for future reference.
- Provide insights and recommendations for system improvements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in system analysis, design, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, databases, and software development methodologies.
- Experience with data mapping and integration between systems, particularly in transitioning from legacy solutions to SaaS platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and design effective solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and document technical information.
- Attention to detail and precision in documenting requirements, designs, and testing procedures.
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and BPM tools.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
