Key Responsibilities :
Patient Care Coordination : Coordinate and manage the delivery of acute care services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Quality Improvement : Monitor and evaluate the quality of acute care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient care standards.
- Resource Management : Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, to optimize the delivery of acute care services.
- Team Leadership : Provide leadership to a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Mentor and guide staff to ensure adherence to best practices and hospital policies.
Patient Advocacy : Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Foster a patient-centered care approach.
- Compliance and Documentation : Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities.
- Emergency Response : Collaborate with emergency response teams to develop and implement effective strategies for handling acute situations, ensuring a swift and coordinated response.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Current state licensure and certification in a relevant healthcare discipline.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
The position requires MT license and BLS, ACLS, ENPC, PALS, and TNCC certifications. This role will care for both floor patients and the ER.
